Kayla Stinebaugh is the manager at PELC's second location, at 214 N Main St., in Moscow. she has also taken on the role of Lead Pre-K Teacher, and is loving it! Kayla graduated from the University of Idaho with a bachelor's degree in Accounting in December of 2017. She has an abundance of classroom experience in all age groups working with Palouse Early Learning Center since it's opening in 2007. Kayla is currently working towards getting her Child Development Associate Credential.

In her free time, Kayla enjoys spending time doing things in the outdoors, including fishing, hunting, camping and hiking. She enjoys spending time with her family and her two labrador retrievers, Allie and Piper.

Teacher Kasey is our lead infant teacher at our second location on Main Street. She has called Moscow her home since mid 2018, moving from Norfolk, Virginia, where her husband was stationed in the Navy. She spent three years studying accounting at Charleston Southern University in North Charleston, South Carolina. Kasey has been working as a teacher at PELC since September of 2019, after bringing her son to us for almost a year prior. She is passionate about working with children, and says she hopes to one day earn a degree in education, with hopes to one day become a speech teacher to help make a difference in a child's life.
Teacher Kasey's favorite color is blue, and she is obsessed with going to the beach! She spends her spare time with her husband and their two children, ages 2 years and 3 months. She also enjoys doing crafts and going camping. 
"I enjoy working with children of all ages because there's no better way to make a difference, children are the future leaders of the world and the most rewarding thing to me is to be a positive light to them all as they grow."

Teacher Sarah: Lead Elephant Calf Teacher

Teacher Alondra has been with PELC for quite some time, working at both of our locations. Currently, she is working as our lead preschool teacher at Site 1, on Alturas Drive. Alondra is currently studying early childhood development and education, and has worked at PELC for over a year with a variety of age groups. 
"I love working at PELC because it has provided me with the experiences I will use through my future career and life. I love working with students and watching them grow and develop educationally. Hearing a student say "Teacher, I did it!" is such a reward." 
Alondra has called Moscow her home for 4 years. While she is passionate about early childhood development and education, she is also passionate about firefighting and overall making a difference within her community. Her favorite color is blue; cats and llamas make her smile; and she is a huge fan of Liverpool FC and the Seattle Sounders! Christmas is her absolute favorite holiday. .

Teacher Ahnika is our lead waddler teacher at Site 2 on Main Street. Ahnika has previously spent two years studying at California State University of Long Beach including coursework in Child Development and Nutrition. She has many years experience working with children, including working as a camp counselor, a Sunday school teacher, and being a nanny. 

In her free time she enjoys knitting and doing crafts, and she one day hopes to be an elementary school teacher when she finishes her degree.

Teacher Chelsey is our lead toddler teacher at PELC's site 1 on Alturas Drive in Moscow. She recently made the transition over from our second location on Main Street, where she worked as the lead toddler teacher for almost 8 months. She has lived in Moscow all of her life. She has an abundance of experience working with young children, working in childcare for the last 6 years. She is also three years into an Early Childhood Development degree at the University of Idaho.

She enjoys spending her free time with her husband and cat, Luna. Her hobbies include doing art, specifically painting and drawing. She also enjoys baton twirling, which she has performed and competed in since she was six years old. 

Teacher Berlyn: Lead Cheetah Cubs Teacher

Teacher Morgan has worked at PELC for over 3 years, most of which she spent as the lead infant, and then toddler teacher. Morgan has  experience working with all age groups. She has taken several child development courses through the University of Idaho, IdahoSTARS, and Care Courses. She is now working primarily as our kitchen manager, making meals for our precious little ones!

Morgan recently married her high school sweetheart, and says she loves living in Moscow with their two guinea pigs, Han and Chewy, and their cat, Whiskey.
Teacher Trenna is a part-time teacher at Site 2. She is currently in her Senior year working towards a degree in elementary education from the University of Idaho, with an endorsement in literacy. Teacher Trenna has experience working with children in all age groups. She has been nannying and babysitting since a young age, as well as running a youth summer recreational program for the last three summers.

“I enjoy working with children because you have the opportunity to make so much of an impact in their lives. Their excitement, curiosity, and creativity are contagious. Every day is truly an adventure, you never know what they are going to do or say next!”


In her free time, Trenna enjoys being outside, including hunting, fishing, working on the farm, and hiking with her dog. She also enjoys racing dirt bikes as often as she can, as well as spending time with friends and family.
Teacher Hannah was previously a ​part-time teacher at Site 1, but has since moved into a part-time substitute for both sites. Hannah is an Elementary Education major at the University of Idaho with emphases in Literacy and English as a New Language, and she is also in a sorority, Delta Delta Delta. Hannah has been working with children since she was practically a child herself! She also works at the Eggan Youth Center in Moscow, in their after-school program for elementary and middle school children.

Teacher Berlyn is our newest member of the PELC team. She is our new lead baby teacher at our Site 1, located on alturas drive in moscow. berlyn graduated from san diego state university with a bachelor of fine arts degree in elementary education, with an emphasis in science. she also has received her teaching english as a second language (tesl) certificate. berlyn says she has always known she wanted to be a teacher, so her experience working with young children started at a very young age. in high school, berlyn spent two years helping out in elementary classrooms every day. she also has completed over 85 classroom observation hours throughout her college career. Additionally, berlyn traveled abroad to thailand and taught english to kindergarten and 1st grade Thai students. berlyn plans on attending seattle pacific university, where she will be pursuing her teaching certificate, as well as her master's degree in teaching.

Throughout my time working with children, I have learned that there is nothing more rewarding than guiding a child to success and seeing their self confidence grow. Children are truly the future of our world, and I can't wait to dedicate my life to educating them."

Teacher Trenna: Part Time Assistant

Tami Stinebaugh has been the owner/director of Palouse Early Learning Center for more than 10 years. Tami has a bachelor’s degree in elementary education and three additional years of training in early childhood development and special education.

“I love PELC because I was able to create a place for families to bring their children where they could feel good about their growth and development,” Tami said. “Helping children to build a strong foundation before entering school is so important to me!”

Tami has three children, ages 24, 20 and 9, and an English bulldog, Mack. She also has a passion for the Oakland Raiders. 
Teacher Tessa has been working as our lead preschool teacher for PELC's Site 2 for almost a year. Tessa also has an abundance of early childhood experience, including working in in-home daycare settings, as well as other childcare facilities, one of which being PELC back in 2017 as the lead baby teacher. 

In her personal time, she spends it with her husband, son, and two dogs and enjoys going out hiking, fishing, and camping. 


"I love working with children and watching them grasp concepts they couldn’t before. I also love arts and crafts and creating little memories for the families to take home." 
Teacher Sarah is the lead Pre-K teacher at Site 1. Sarah first discovered her passion for working with children while volunteering at a children's therapeutic riding center, located in her hometown of Austin, Texas. Since volunteering, Sarah has cherished working with children of all ages. With experience as both a dedicated nanny and daycare teacher, Sarah moved to Idaho to further pursue her dream of studying Elementary Education, in the hopes of one day becoming a Special Education teacher.

Beyond teaching, her passions included horseback riding, and journaling. She is now happily settled in Moscow, Idaho with her loving fiance, Christopher, and her adorable kitten, Jasper.
